West Georgia Track Club is hosting the Carrollton Half Marathon Shake-out Run on Friday, September 25 at 10:00 AM at The Depot on Bradley in Carrollton. With support from Altra, Nike, and UWG, we're thrilled to welcome Piergiorgio Conti—a UWG international partner, friend, and alternate for the 2008 Italian Olympic Marathon team—as our special guest. Come out and meet the Altra and Nike brand reps and try on some shoes to demo before we head out with Piergiorgio for an easy 2-mile out-and-back run or walk. Afterwards, grab your race bib and visit with vendors at the race expo inside the train depot. You do not have to be registered for the Carrollton Half Marathon to participate in the shake-out run or visit the expo. All paces and abilities are welcome!
